What time does the music run?

Concerts take place from midday until 5pm, then again from 7:30pm until 11pm, then we head to the bar for a jam session until 1 to 1:30am.

Do you send out tickets?

No, instead we ask jazz party attendees to come to the desk outside the performance room from 10am on Friday to confirm they are here. After that you are free to come and go as you please.

When is the programme released?

Our printed programmes can be picked up on the first day of the festival. All of our themes can be found on the concerts page, by clicking here.

Can I sit with friends?

Yes! We keep a big database of seating requests from earlier years. If you want to sit with someone, just let us know via email. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What parking is there at the hotel?

There is free parking all weekend at the hotel. You must let the reception desk know you are here for the jazz festival. This is because the hotel’s car park is controlled by private parking cameras. This applies to every car, even if you are staying elsewhere for the weekend or for day visitors.

Please also remember if you drive here and come through the Tyne Tunnel, you must pay the toll online by midnight of the following day. We can assist you with this if you need a computer to pay on.
